Myeik/Mergui Archipelago (4Days/3Nights)
Myeik, formerly Mergui, is a city in Tanintharyi Region in Myanmar, located in the extreme south of the country on the coast of an island on the Andaman Sea, comprises over 800 beautiful islands. Due to its virtual isolation, the islands and surrounding seas are alive with an amazing diversity of flora & fauna and very beautiful underwater scenes and marine life.
The only human inhabitants in the area are sea gypsies, namely Salon in Myanmar. They live on boats during dry season and remain on land during rainy season. They still practice the same fishing and boat building techniques used for generation. Being affectionate to sea, much skillful in swimming and diving, their ways of life and customs are so characteristic that traditional festival will be launched intending to attract international tourists as well as to operate marine eco-tourism around the islands in Archipelago.

DEATILED ITINERARY
DAY 1: YANGON-MYEIK (by flight)
City sightseeing (OR) Mangroves forest and village by Shampan/small boat
After breakfast at hotel you are transferred to the Yangon International airport for a morning flight to Myeik. Upon arrival you are welcomed by our local tour guide and transferred to hotel. After refreshment, start on a city sightseeing and countryside as per the following programs but please choose 10 places below mentioned which are your interesting as you have not enough time to visit for all these.
1. Mergui Pearl Shop, 2. Colonial House, 3. Natural Bird’s Nest House, 4. Dried Fish production area, 5. Cashew Nut Factory, 6. Pahtet Reclining Buddha located at the opposite side of Myeik city that need to go by wooden small boat called shampan with your extra cost, 7. Lobster Farm and Storage Area, 8. Yay Kan Baung Lake, 9. Soft Shell Crab Farming Area, 10. Dockyard, 11. Kabar Lone Pagoda, 12. Mahar Theint Di Zaya Pagoda, 13. Paw Daw Mu Pagoda, 14. Thae Inn Gu Monastery, 15. After breakfast at hotel, you are transferred to the Yangon airport for a morning flight to Myeik. Upon arrival Myeik airport, you are welcomed by our local tour guide and transferred to hotel. After refreshment, we go to Myeik pier, embarking on a private Shampan (small wooden boat) short trip to the mangroves forest and village. You can have local life style lunch what they have.
During the shampan riding, you might be lucky to see eagles, monkeys, otters, dolphins and many seabirds. You will have experiences fishing village life. (Note: Otters and dolphins are not easy to see). Arrive back to Myeik city in the late afternoon and overnight at the hotel in Myeik.

DAY 2: FISH FARMING AREA-THA MEE HLA (or) TURTLE EGG ISLAND-MARCUS ISLAND

07:30am - Pick up at your hotel (Downtown)
08:00am - Depart from pier.
08:40am - Arrive to Fish farming area where you will experience how they farm fish and store.
09:30am - Arrive to Tha Mee Hla Island which has short white sand beach and small waterfall.

09:30am - Arrive to Turtle Egg Island with golden sand beach where people dry fish as a living.
11:30am - Arrive to Harris/Marcus Island which has smooth white sand beach with very clear water while enjoying swimming, snorkeling and relaxing.
03:00pm - Return to Myeik.
05:00pm - Arrive back to Myeik city.

DAY 3: SMART ISLAND + DOME MONKEM VILLAGE + WATER FALL

08:00am - Depart from pier.
10:30am - Arrive to Smart Island for special snorkeling point and breath taking underwater (aqua) world such as corals and colorful fishes.
01:00pm - Arrive to Monken (Sea Gypsy) village called Dome Nyaung Mai where you can enjoy local village life.
03:00pm - Arrive to Dome Water-fall where is good for photo and refresh.
05:30pm - Arrive back to Myeik city.

DAY 4: MYEIK-YANGON (by flight)
After breakfast at hotel you are transferred to Myeik airport for a morning flight to Yangon. On arrival at Yangon airport, our driver will come and pick you up at the airport and transfer to hotel. The rest time is free and easy. Overnight at the hotel in Yangon.
